Planking: the new jumpshot?

Planking or the lying down game is an activity consisting of lying face down in an unusual or incongruous location. Since early 2011 a lot of planking enthusiasts have mushroomed around the world and posted in the internet.
Now it seems that the fashion world through various editorials have also joined the bandwagon. Could this mean planking may soon replace the jumping shots at Vogue? or far more exciting perhaps a Marc Jacobs campaign?
